My little ones have an acre of weeds to graze on and I do mean weeds. I keep them in a pen at night and have been feeding them coastal hay. Should I be feeding some alfalfa to up the nutrients? East Texas sugar sand will not grow much of anything. I also feed a commercial quality complete goat feed to them.

Weeds are fine. Goats tend to prefer them to grass. They also like small bushes and young trees. The doe in milk should probably be getting some alfalfa, because it sounds like you don't have much browse, and the goat feed should have at least 35 ppm copper. She also needs a free choice, loose goat mineral (rather than a block). The buck should do okay on a grass hay and free choice minerals.
