I have a doe who is in heat right now. I'm trying to stagger breeding for year round milk production. My doe has been bred and kidded before. After she stood for the buck twice I took him back to his buck pen. Shortly after breeding I noticed she had a fair amount of blood dripping from her vagina. They are both NDs and both of equal size. I've never noticed this with breeding my other does before. There is no chance she could have already been bred earlier and miscarrying. Any advise from more experienced goat breeders would be appreciated!
Thank you

Yeah, that's very strange. I've never seen it before. Let us know what the vet says.
I will not be trying her again this heat cycle. I will be calling the vet tomorrow.

I have never seen that. If you know she was bred in the last month or two, she could be miscarrying, as you don't normally see anything at all at that point, but a little blood would be the most that you'd see, if you happened to be around at the right moment. Any chance that it could have been some type of skin injury?
