  • Juliana:

I read somewhere that the rule of thumb is that anything with shiny leaves is are not good for them to eat.

  • Okay...I posted it on a tree forum and they say it is an earleaf acacia.  I can't seem to find anything about goats and acacia....

Does anyone know if it is okay for them to eat it?

This is the site my husband uses to identify trees. You should be able to do it by using the leaves.

  • No idea what the tree is, but if you google something about identifying trees in Florida, you can probably find a website that will help you at least identify it. My husband found one that we used to identify trees in Illinois, but I'm not sure if it would be helpful for you or not.
