  • It's a little concerning for those in the area for sure! But it reminds me of something that my mother has said, which is that being a tb free state isn't really a 100% guarantee because all it takes in one sick animal to cross state lines and then it's no longer tb free. She has said that in regards to heath certificates and tests -- they can be all clear and 15 minutes later the animal be infected.

    I think it's a good reminder that disease tests, tb free status, and etc are important, but we still need to be careful about biosecurity.
