We have been busy with these guys since they were born Tuesday. My husband and I have both delivered goats before, but his best friend never has. My husband had a dentist appointment, and I had a wrestling banquet with the kids. We asked my husband's friend to goat sit while we were gone knowing she was getting closer to delivering. Of course, this is when she delivered. He did good drying off babies, and clearing their mouths to breathe. Unfortunately he took them from mom without letting her see or lick them or anything. By the time we got home, she wanted nothing to do with them. We are trying to give her the space she needs, but trying to get her to take them and feed them too.
She stands for them to nurse on the milk stand, but won't allow them to nurse on her own.
