I had stool samples checked this week and found that "Elsa" who has the heart condition is 1+ for coccidia. Because of her health condition vet recommended that I treat her with Sulfa--I started that TX yesterday.
I also had stool tested on Elsa's mother who was 1+ for a different type of worm (I do not remember the name of the worm)Vet recommended that I switch the grain for all my other goats to a grain with coccidiastat in it--Rumensen or Decox. All of my goats have dry pebble poop. I have not been worming any of them because their gums look pink and they have firm poop. Is 1+ reason to give wormer in feed to healthy goats?
