  • I used to raise mini lamanchas. You can try to help by putting the buck on something so he can more easily reach the doe. However, my success with this varied a LOT, and one year when the buck was have trouble, he turned his affections towards me, which was NOT fun. He jumped on me and was blubbering in my face!

Ultimately if you have healthy, eager bucks, they can usually do it without any assistance, assuming the doe isn't too big. I know you have some young bucks, which I would not expect to be able to breed an adult Guernsey. The ideal situation is an adult ND with a young standard size doe. But that only works for the doe's first year. Then the buck just needs to have a lot of spring in his hind legs.
