My doe had a thick white plug in her vulva (indication of heat?) This time she did not cry out like before when in heat. I put her in with the buck. She didn't "stand" like she has before, but she did allow him to penetrate (he pushed) and (she tucked) all three times. Would this be a good breeding?

I appreciate your view. I have been doing it for years. When they aren't PG it doesn't fizz, when they are it fizzes like beer LOL It's been right almost 100 percent of the time.
The white discharge I mentioned was pre breeding...that is whey I decided to put her in with the buck.
I really hope you'll skip the Clorox test. If I pee in a cup of Clorox, it will fizz, and I am quite sure I'm not pregnant. There is ammonia in urine, so mixing it with bleach is a bad idea.

As for the white vs clear discharge ... I personally haven't noticed the different timing, but that's what they say in the veterinary textbooks. However, once a buck has bred a doe there will be white discharge. That's the semen that is leaking out. Some does can be in standing heat for 12 hours or more, so it's not all that unusual that she let the buck breed her again in the morning.
LOL It's interesting that she kinda let him do it again this morning. I got hit really bad on my leg/knee getting in between the two bucks....arrggghhhh I'll do the clorox text in a few weeks, and that will tell me for sure if she took.
One of my girls had white discharge this morning and now a few hours later has clear discharge and yelling and has an "open" vulva! I bred her last month so I guess she didn't settle. But interesting we were just talking about this!
I know it is confusing and I've read different things too. That's why I said "in my experience" because mine usually have white mucous first and then come into standing heat. I would think this happens because the cervix starts opening a little to let sperm in and when it does, the white goo comes out first. Then she produces a clear slippery mucous which makes it easy for the buck to penetrate (like lubrication) so that's when she is "ready". I read in Deborah's book that white means late in heat. Maybe they sometimes have the white early and then at the end too because mine do have it right at the beginning and then after they come out of standing heat, there is white goo again. I wonder if others would comment on this?

If she was running from him but he still penetrated, she may very well get pregnant if the sperm can last long enough. You may have to wait and see but if it were me, I'd watch over the next day to see if she gets more ready and then put her in with him again when she will stand for him. When "ready" there is usually a clear shiny discharge and very loose looking vulva (open).
