I saw and felt what I think to be scabs on one of my does teat, but it was only one teat, not both. I was just wondering if this could be anything i should be worried about. Thanks!

Okay, Thank You!
I'm having a hard time picturing what's happening. You could just try putting some olive oil or lanolin on it for a few days and seeing if it goes away. You have some time before the kids are born.
It rained a little, but I live in California and unfortunately were in a drought right now, so it's more like summer or spring than anything, and yes they had access to dry bedding. I'm not sure about the dry skin, it's kinda flaky.
Does it feel more like dry skin? Have you had a lot of rain lately? Does she have access to dry bedding?
She is due late march, so no kids yet. I am not totally sure it is scabs because it is patches, its not one single piece but it feels like scabs.
If she has a kid nursing, the kid may have bitten her. She may have also scraped it on something and injured it. Although there are bacterial skin infections that goats can get, a single scab is probably some type of injury.
