This may be a youth thing or maybe not. Both Capri (mom) and Summer (1.5 years old) are quiet goats, rarely saying anything. Ginger, on the other hand, is quite vocal. Of course, since we are in town, I would prefer she be less vocal like her mom and sister. Is this a thing of youthful goats and she may be quieter as she gets older? If not, are there suggestions from you as to what I might do to encourage her to be quieter?
The quiet older goats are making it difficult to catch when Summer is in heat - I think I've noticed Capri a couple of times. However, it is Summer I want to catch and have bred. The rare times I hear anyone other than Ginger say anything, I try to catch who it is - so far unsuccessful.
