Hi we are new to goats in general. We want to breed them as you have to to have milk. Anyway we were reading about male goats (these where not nigerian dwarf goats that we were reading about) we read that they can get pretty gross. Are dwarf nigerian goats any different. Are they better than regular male goats. If not could you give us some tips on how to keep them clean. Thanks.

I am sure not looking forward to it at all. I imagine I will be taking a shower twice a day...Stinky little sweethearts!

If you read that male goats are stinky and pee on themselves, then yep, NDs are the same. I did visit a boer farm once, however, and their bucks stink a lot more, probably just because they're bigger. But still, you wouldn't want to put your bucks right next to your house or upwind of your house. They stink the worst in fall and winter, and there isn't much you can do about it.
