Is there such a thing as a pregnancy test for a nigerian? I know I had a horse ultrasounded to be sure she was pregnant.
When we bring home the new doeling (2 months from now or so) Our adult doe will have been pastured with the buckling from 2 months to six of age. He is four months old now and we have seen him at least humping her. Sometimes she tolerates it, sometimes she gives him the boot. He does it with the wether more than her lol.
Anyway, when the baby girl comes home I will move the two does into their own pasture and the boy will no longer have access to the adult doe. At that point, I'll need to figure out if she's pregnant or not, and whether to hand breed her to him again in the future. Any ideas? Btw I realize that pasture breeding her was not ideal for the sake of not knowing when she'll be due and so on...
