New Additions

I have added new family members to my small Back Porch Farm herd. Where we were 3 now we are 7. Thats double plus 1!! It was a 14 hour round trip to meet for the pick-up from Too Tall Timbers in MO.  They had a bit of snow the night before so I was so thankful I didn't have to drive the entire way from southern AR.  Our temp in the south was 62!! The newbies may a bee-line to check out my girls in the barn. As you can see, they are more than a handful!!

  • Three were 5 mos old & the little buckling was 2 months old.  Due to the distance and the unusual snow storms I didnt get the 3 older ones then decided to let them all get used to each other before moving them. That way the little buck didn't have to move by himself. Don't know if this makes the goats feel better about coming to a new home, but it made me feel better. HA. So far, so good. Coming from North Missouri to Southern Arkansas probably makes them feel like they are in Florida!!
