Need VERY small buck for breeding

Hi

I live in Essex Vt. Looking for a very small 2.5 yr old  fuzzy chocolate doe. She is about 22 lbs.

My goats are therapy goats. We go to nursing homes, senior living, rehabs, respite, domestic abuse. After having chemo-therapy patients have been known to come and just sit with the goats

  • Just responded your post in the other message, but you didn't say how old or how big the doe was. If your doe is 22 pounds at age 2 1/2 years, I would NOT ever breed her. A mature ND weighs closer to 60 pounds, some up to 80. Bucks are up to 100 pounds. There are no bucks small enough to safely breed a doe that size. A c-section can cost $800 or more with a lot of vets, but I'm not even sure a doe that size could carry to term.
