I have been sick lately and sorry for not updating but I did get an amazing buckling named Maple Farm Eugene O'Neill. He has a great pedigree and we are so grateful to have him on our farm.
I am currently looking at moving to WV (if I get the transfer with my current job) but I have a couple of nigerian bucks for sale if interested. one is out of last years babies (Prancer) and the other is this years (Thumper). as soon as I get some nice pictures of Thumper I will update my farm page www.Dancingdragongoats.com
Could you tell me the registered names of the dam and sire? Are they duel registered? Most of my NDs are dual registered with AGS and ADGA. Are the parents friendly and easy to handle? Is the Dam an easy milker? I am very interested and just need to confirm with DH. At this point we are just interested in one. They are both nice looking bucks but I am inclined toward the broken buckskin. When would the little buckling be available to pick up? Sorry for all the questions but I am a planner and like to get as much info as I can before making decisions.
My Napoleon is a regal buck with very nice conformity and very good pedigree. His dad is Sugar Creek C Willful and his dam is Irish Whisper Forget Me Not. I have a pic of him on my page.
I think the genetics of your buckling would be a nice addition to our farm. Thanks so much for letting me know about your bucklings. You can send me info to my email: peacefulmountainfarmwv@gmail.com. Also, in the email let me know how much deposit I need and how you would like to receive it. I would like to use paypal if you are interested. Again thanks!
We are located in Washington County, north of Albany in the foothills of the Adirondacks. I know right where Lockport is though. My mom grew up in Arcade. Small world!

Annelise,
I am interested in seeing more recent photos. I am interested in conformation but more interested in dairy characteristics. I checked out the DesertNanny website. They have some wonderful goats! These boys would definitely bring in a different bloodline and that's what we are looking for. Where in upstate NY are you located? Just wondering because I was born in Lockport, NY. Meeting you in PA would work for us. Thanks for the info. Looking forward to seeing the pics.

I will be offering two bucklings for sale with stellar pedigrees. Their blue eyed dam is out of DesertNanny IcyBlueTailFly3*D x DF Farms HD Barney Rubble +S. If you google DesertNanny you can see pics of her full and half siblings and their accomplishments in the showring. Dam also has Twin Creeks and Caesar's Villa bloodlines. As a first freshener she gave me triplets this year, nice udder with nice attachment and great capacity. At three weeks fresh she is giving over a quart a day for the house on top of raising her babies. I'm not sure how this girl ended up in the northeast, but the bloodlines she carries aren't something you see around us very often. Around us, and maybe you too, many of the quality animals carry a heavy percentage of Rosasharn genetics. Using one of these handsome guys as an outcross could give you a genetic edge.
I've posted some pics of them at a few days old. If you think you might be interested let me know and I'll take some more recent ones for you tomorrow so you can judge their conformation for yourself. I'm in upstate NY, but may be able to meet you in PA. They are very healthy, disbudded, on coccidia preventive, deworming schedule and vaccinated for cdt. They are well socialized around other goats, dogs, kids, chickens and even a donkey. They will be weaned 6/11. Price is $325 each. Willing to consider a package deal if you want to take both (maybe sell one local to you to defray some of your travel costs?)Let me know if you have questions.
I have one who will be coming up for sale though I wish I could keep him. He is 5 weeks old today so I still have some time with him. He is boss of the yard and will make someone a wonderful herd sire. However, I don't show but his father comes from excellent lines from a farm that does show. Being in southwest Washington, I'm about as far from you as I can be while still in the "Lower 48." I wish you much good luck in your search.
