Congratulations! Were you there for the birth? I'll never forget our first birth. We thought that another goat was going to kid, and I sent the human kids out to the barn to check on her. My 10-year-old daughter said that everyone was fine, but Fannie was trying to poop, and nothing was coming out. Yikes! I went running out there with towels, and we had our first goat kids within minutes. I thought it was so cute how my daughter realized the goat was pushing, but put it into the only context she understood, since she'd never seen an animal give birth before.
