Introductions...

Hello to every one!

We are in Ontario, Canada and have a 100acre farm which we farm organically. We run a CSA and use two Suffolk Punch draft horses to do the cultivating etc, we also raise Heritage Berkshire Pigs, and my husband is a newbee (apologies for the pun) bee keeper.  We met Marcy at a workshop and then last week visited her herd of ND's, and have fallen slightly head over heels in love with them. Fingers crossed we will be starting our own herd next Spring.  It will move us closer to being more sustainable on our farm.
We have a farm blog if you would like to find out more about us

Look forward to learning from you all on the forums,

Sally & Michael.

  • Welcome, again! We have heritage pigs too -- Tamworth. It is easy to fall in love with NDs, and if you think the goats are great, you'll really love the cheese! The more cheese we make, the more my husband loves the goats. We currently produce about 97% of our dairy products. I blot at http://antiquityoaks.blogspot.com, and our website is http://www.antiquityoaks.com, which has a link to our Facebook page. It also has a list of all the food we've produced this year, but it needs to be updated! It's great to have you on the list. You'll get a lot of great info from the forum archives.
