I have two nigerian dwarf does that recently had one kid each. As someone new to goats, I wasn't sure they were pregnant. I thought perhaps I was overfeeding them. I had a friend check them and they didn't think they were pregnant either. To make a long story short, I now have two bucklings, one is two weeks old and they other is three weeks old. The two week old has horns and the three week old doesn't. What is the chance that the three week old won't get any. There is not even a bump. Also, when should I give them their CDT shot? Thanks

The manufacturer only recommends two initial doses and then annual boosters, although some breeders do more, and some don't do the vaccine at all.
Usually you give the CD&T Vaccine at 4, 8,and 12 weeks old. When you vaccinate expect a lump to be left for sometime afterwards.
If a buck doesn't have pointy bumps on his head by 3 weeks, I can't imagine he would be horned. You can usually feel the points on a buck's head the day he is born.
