Hi! From Northern California!

Howdy! My name is Bobbi.  I live on about 2 acres with my husband and 6.5 year old daughter.  We have 1 English Bulldog, 1 Yorkie Terrier, 10 hens, 1 rooster, 2 rabbits, 2 bee hives a large garden and small fruit tree orchard with multiple different varieties of fruit.  We also took in 2 goats recently, an Alpine mama and her year old Alpine/Nubian daughter.  They are going back to their previous owner as they just don't seem to like it here!  Lot's of changes for them and they just aren't settling.

This weekend we are excited to be getting 3 ND's!  A mama (she is 2) and her doeling and wether who are 2 months old.  We have wanted ND's for.ever and it's finally happening!

Looking forward to getting to know you all and learning from you too!

The first pic is of our new mama, Gypsy.  The doeling is the one with the black on her face.

  • Thank you for the welcome!

Janel-I will have to check our your Millie!  I am absolutely in LOVE with our family, and they aren't even home yet!  lol  I'm counting down the days like a child at Christmas.  Saturday isn't coming fast enough!

Deborah!  That's the truth!  We currently have a mama (alpine) and her daughter (alpine/nubian) and they ADORE the fig trees that line the side of the pen!  And, the grapevines that WERE on the back of the fence!  lol   We knew when making the pen we would be sacrificing....thats ok, there are a ton more trees.

  • Welcome! Make sure the goats don't go anywhere near those fruit trees -- they love 'em, especially if they're young trees.
  • Welcome to the group!! Your mamma Gypsy looks like one of my does Millie!! Congrats on your new additions :0)
