hairless, crusty ear tips

any idea what might cause the very tips of a does ears to lose hair and get thick and kind of crusty? i don't see it anywhere else on her, just tips of her ears :( poor girl.

That could be frost bite, if you live in a place that is cold enough, although it is usually only young kids that have such problems. If that is what it is, they will just fall off, and there is nothing you can do about it.

Could be mites. Ivermectin pour-on should take care of it, if that is it.
