I knew that when i got my goats that I would have to move them twice a year because of flooding. At that time i asked around about the flooding helping with parasites, ie washing the poop away. Well we have had the flood and the goat pens were under 7 foot of water for a couple weeks during the winter before the freeze and the poop is still there. I really did think that the river would wash the pens clean but it didn't.Water was about 3 feet taller than the fence posts.
