Hi there! Help/advice needed. We have a female who kidded 3 dead babies 6 months ago. So so sad, and we aren't sure why they passed. She was getting adequate minerals/supplements. Anyway, we were told the milk would dry up so we never tried to milk her. Now, 6 months later, he bags are still full and I'm worried that this isn't normal? No heat to the touch, and they are soft feeling. She won't let us try to milk her, and I'm not sure at this point if that's even the right thing to do. Any input would be appreciated. She's eating and acting normal, but walking differently. I'd hate for it to be a source of discomfort for her

  • Hi Sandra, and welcome! I'm sorry you lost your doe's kids. Can you post a picture of her udder so we can see exactly what you're talking about?

What's her diet? What type of hay, pasture, and what brand of minerals?
