Okay, so this is not totally a contest - there are no prizes - rather it is random fun contest to test the knowledge of goat owners/breeders everywhere!
If I still have you reading, I will explain the contest. On Wednesday, June 16th, my wether Hansel will turn 3 years old. He has always been little, but I was told he would grow until he was 3. And that he would be 24 inches, and 80 pounds (or something like that!). Now I have not wieghed or measured him since he was 1 1/2. So the contest is to see who can guess his new hieght and/or weight.
Here is the information you need to know: At 6 months he was 17 inches tall, 35 pounds. At the time of his birthday he was 18 1/2 - 40 pounds. And at almost 2, he was 53 pounds. Now, he has passed his mother in height already (Beauty is 19 inches), and he looks to be taller than Goose and Fairy - 21 inches. He is more on dairy looking side.
I will be measuring and weighing Hansel on his birthday and posting results! Happy Guessing!
