I bought 4 adult does who were supposed to be bred for November. When they arrived, two of them certainly don't look pregnant. Two of them are round and could look pregnant but could also just be round looking.
To date 2 of them have showed significant interest in my bucks, hollering, tail wagging, flirting, the whole 9 yards. I have Biopryn's out on them so I will know for sure on Thursday, but of course am too impatient lol.
Someone mentioned that definitely pregnant mares will still show off for a new stallion if they are moved while pregnant. Any chance they are just excited about the new bucks? Or they are just not pregnant :(
It's not a total loss either way...I wanted them to be pregnant, one of them I wouldn't have bought if I knew she wasn't, but I just bought a new buck I am very excited about and will be glad to have some one to use him on...

I'd breed them if they're acting like they're in heat. My does are always far from my bucks, so the boys are always "new" to them, and they never act interested in them unless they're in heat.
