Got a Toggenburg/Guernsey mix did not knw she was actually pregnant whewn I got her. Seller didnt know either, runs a fairly unsupervised herd. She was bred with a Kiko. Baby was too big. Miscarriage was in late December. No long term effects, she recovered well, actually changed her disposition for the better, very affectionate is a great milker. My question would be how long should I wait for breeding again. I`ve gotten all sorts of opinions from locals. Live in Northern Idaho, lots of goat people locally. Any input is appreciated. Love this website.

If she aborted, it's important to double-check your nutrition program because mineral deficiencies can cause miscarriages, and if you don't correct them, you wind up with more problems. What mineral do you have available for your goats?
