  • If you ask 10 people what to feed kids, you’ll get 10 different answers. Of course goat milk from a healthy goat is best. But if that’s not available ... We’ve used milk replacer and we’ve used cow milk. I haven’t noticed a difference. If you use milk replacer, use one that’s goat specific. If you don’t want to use milk replacer I see no benefit n mixing up the blend you mentioned, especially if you use most buttermilk from the store, which is just a bunch of chemicals — not real fermented buttermilk.
