Anyone know of info on starting a tax deductible goat business? Weird question, I know...

Hi Goat Friends!

      After paying my taxes yesterday (which made me kind of sick!), I was wondering if anyone has had any luck claiming the yearly expenses that having a herd entails  and profits of goats they sell as a business?    Have any books been written about it?

If you are selling goats and have income, the IRS wants you to pay them, so you are also entitled to deductions for your expenses in raising the goats and making the income. Talk to a tax professional, and they can give you all the info that relates to your situation.
