Yesterday I counted the days & figured out that Penny & Annie would be at day 145 Feb 11th which is almost exactly 3 weeks from today. Apparently 145 is the earliest they could kid?
Annie's udder appears to be fully developed, though not really full and tight. Penny hasn't even started an udder yet.
Annie also has had mucus discharge today and yesterday. Should I be worried?

No, Penny is...6 this year I think? And this is her 4th freshening, pretty sure- second pregnancy with us. She tested pregnant through Biopryn, and we can feel them kicking and moving around in there, so I am quite sure she is preg. I don't think anything but a baby could feel just exactly like a little foot booting you through her belly! Wish I could remember when she made her udder last year. I should start writing these things down so I can remember from year to year what was normal for that doe. Penny's last pregnancy, kidding ect., was perfect. She delivered Miyagi's super babes fine and had plenty of milk to grow them up.
Maybe Penny is just planning to have them towards the end of the possible carry time which still gives her a month to make an udder!? I hope :/
Glad you clarified about the mucous. I was going to ask exactly what you meant because there is mucous and then there is MUCOUS!
Everything sounds pretty normal. Some does look like their udder is going to explode for a few days before they give birth, so sounds like Annie still has some room to grow.
Is Penny a first freshener? If not, I'd start to worry that she isn't pregnant in another week or so, if she doesn't get an udder.
Well..vet's closed weekends & probably holidays...plus it is really minor. Nothing stringing or hanging out, just there at the opening. No other signs of labor- ligaments are fine ect.
99.9% sure the date can't be wrong...I did expose her to a young buck a few weeks prior to the actual breeding but he was so clueless he never even mounted her and I am quite certain I never took my eyes off them while they were together & there was nothing even close to an actual breeding.
I keep checking back to see if you have had a reply yet...I do not know what to tell you except have you called your vet...I would think it is much to early for her to be showing discharge....is there any chance your date is wrong?
