I just went out to move the Momma and babies to a different pen for the day so she has more graze and she has bloody mucus on her tail...The kids were born Sunday...is this normal for her to have some discharge at this time?
We also had a freeze watch lastnight...not sure if that is relevant or not, but it might have put more stress on her body?

It's normal to see a little bloody mucous for as long as two weeks. As long as it's not stinky, which would indicate an infection, it's fine.
Thank you for responding...this is what I was also thinking also, just that it has been 6 days since she birthed made me stop and wonder.
I've seen the same thing with some of my mommies and as far as I could tell
It was normal and there were no ill effects after it was seen.
To me it seems quite normal to have a bit if a bloody discharge after having
given birth. There have been no problems and the discharge never lasted long.
Some folks who have bred goats for much longer than myself, I sure will let you know
what they think.
I hope you get responses to ease your worry.
