My doe Accuracy had triplets last week, and sadly I cannot keep the boys unless I wether them. My other doe is their cousin! I would like to find a good home for the bucklings as herdsires, if possible. If I haven't sold them by 8 weeks, they will be wethered and stay with us.
The sire is MCH Caesars Villa FL Brat in the Barn *S. This is Brat's last breeding season, so his last sons. You usually see Brat show up as a grandsire these days. Brat's dam was ARMCH Caesars Villa Bridget *D E (Stetson daughter), sire Caesars Villa PL Golden Flame *S.
My doe is Kids Corral FF Accuracy (1 RGC, 3rd in her large class at last year's NC State Fair in Raleigh). Her dam Metronome was the 2005 AGS Nat'l show GC Jr. doe and her dame was the 2005 breed winner of the one day milk test (Swanson's Doemain Emma). Accuracy's sire is MCH Kids Corral Fire Flame *S. The bucklings are gold and white with brown eyes, are being handled daily and VERY friendly. They were disbudded today and will be tattoed as well as be current on all vaccines. They are both from clean herds. Other herdnames are Rosasharn, Twin Creeks, Flat Rocks, Goodwood, Gaymor, etc.
I will get photos of Accuracy's udder when they are old enough to allow it to fill. I will get better photos of the boys, too. I've attached one of Barney that doesn't do him justice. They will be registered AGS and ADGA.
Let me know if you know anyone who would be interested. Thanks!
Kimberly

Here are photos of the dame's udder today (3rd freshening, 2 weeks, 8 hour fill):

This is Aspen (Oakmarsh Aspen in Autumn). He is the lapgoat, a real sweetie! We're asking $300.

This one will be registered as Oakmarsh Highland Barndance (to honor his Sire). We've been calling him Barney. He is definitely a buck to be (if you know what I mean)...and at 10 days old! Again, we're asking $300. He crawls all over me, luckily I haven't been the object of his affection!
I found today that the breeder sold her bred and without getting an udder photo, the previous owner doesn't have an udder photo of Accuracy, either! I will take one when she is full. She has a large capacity (feeding triplets with no assistance), but her rear attachment isn't perfect and the fact that she doesn't lead (at all) has kept her from finishing. She did come in either 2nd or 3rd at the State Fair in October in a large class. We paired this breeding to attempt to correct the rear attachment in my retained doeling. The kids are being handled frequently, and I expect to start working on leading soon.
Thanks!
I'm excited to see the other picture.
