Am I A Goat Mom Again?

The one doeling I have left has been crying for three days straight. And it's not like a little cry, they can hear her in China. And since she is crying it's making her mom cry. The only way I have gotten her to stop crying is with me standing out their with her. Is their anything I could do to get her to calm down.

  • It is good that she is with her mom. There isn't much you can do, other than spending time with her. It varies from goat to goat as far as how long it takes the to deal with new things. Some get over it right away, and some can take close to a week. However, most get over it within a day or two, so hopefully she will start to calm down really soon!

  • Her real mom is crying, the baby starts to cry (who is 4 months old) then the mom will start to cry. It sounds like shes in pain or something. But right when I get out their she stops and everything is fine. I feel like im her secondary mom because she seems to be fine when im out their. And I bottle fed her for the first week of her life, because the mom had a bad birth.

  • Sorry I'm not clear on the situation. Are you saying you have a single goat? When you say her mom is also crying, do you mean her goat mom or you?
