"So, she is pretty much back to normal. She ended up loosing a little bit of tissue on the bottom of her hoof, but nothing major (it was only a thin layer), and the hoof wall looks like it is growing back. I am so thankful that everything has gone…"
"I think it's just going to be a wait and see game on that area of the hoof. She may just have a permanent indention there. I really hope you keep us updated on this so we can all learn from it!
thanks so much for keeping us informed :)

"That makes sense. She was born February 10th, and so it's been a bit more than a month since she would have gotten the frostbite. She has now lost both of her ear tips, and I watched her play for a while yesterday, and she is definitely using her…"
"I do not have an exact answer for you on that hoof, but I have an opinion :)
I think if it was severe you would have already seen tissue sloughing. Since that is not the case I believe it may gradually have healthy tissue replacement as the damaged…"

"Okay, thank you. That is exactly the answer I was looking for. I will probably contact a vet if things start looking bad, but for now I will just see how things go.
The greenish color that I was talking about is probably nothing to worry about. It…"
"I can't see anything green between the hooves in the photo. You might need to pull apart the toes and get a photo for us to see it. I'm wondering if the dark parts are going to fall off. It looks like there is already some separationg at the top of…"
"Thank you for the reply. She is doing good, still jumps around (just not as much as her sister). She favors that foot more than she did at first. I've been soaking her hoof in epsom salt/tea tree oil warm water every day (the weather is above…"
"How is she doing today?
If you have a vet I would see about getting her in. They could prescribe something for pain and inflammation, such as Banamine.
They would also be able to give you a prognosis based on physical exam of her feet.

"here are updated photos of her favored foot. And then here are some of her other hind leg hoof. They are not looking so great...it looks like the part of the hoof that you trim is slowly falling off...is there anything that I should do for her pain?…"
