Hi, thank you for having me in your group. I've had goats of some kind for almost 40 years. I started with a handful of standard size, dairy goats, and when I spotted the Boar goats at the state fair in the late nineties, I knew I had to have some of those brutes! I've had 4 goats now about 20 years and currently have a little over 100 Boar does. I have a commercial heard and have always kept a few dairy goats for extra milk. I've always preferred having the nubians because they blend very well with the lobe shaped ears and large frame of the boars. As I'm getting older, it's not as easy for me to break the nubians. To the stanchion, and i've add several fairly serious injuries to my shoulders and back. So I decided to get into the nigerian dwarfs to have for my dairy goats, as there so much smaller and easier for me to handle. I currently have 6 does and one buck of the Nigerians and 1 baby girl. I will be saving as well. I just love the personality, size and adorable demeanor overall of these cute little balls of fun.
