What is medicated feed and who needs it?

We see quite a bit of confusion over what people assume is in medicated feed and who needs it, so I'm explaining what IS in medicated feed, what is NOT in medicated feed, when it's appropriate to feed medicated feed, and to which goats, as well as which goats should NEVER be given medicated feed.
