Well, I am getting a kid kit - together - and I bought a lamb/kid puller God forbid it should ever have to be used. Not to mention, as a first time assistant - could NEVER imagine even thinking of using it!! But on the list, it said, yep, better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it!! I keep thinking that $10 might have been better spent. Surely, if things were that bad, would I have time to call a vet??? This isnt the leg snare - it is plastic with a cable. BUT my comment is actually - man, I wish I could've bounced back like that AFTER child birth..... for sure. Thinking positive - dont foresee any problems - Amen.
how funny that "you" are the owner of this goat and now you are talking to me about bucks!! I viewed this video on the net months ago. 0) Now that IS a coincidence ;)
The whole birth - from the time she laid down to when the last kid was born - was a total of 9 minutes. We were only expecting twins based on the ultrasound, so I had set the camera down and was cleaning off babies when the third kid arrived. She was so small (just over a pound) that I was sure she was dead. But the minute I cleared her nose she started screaming and then tried to get to her feet. She is definitely a spunky little gal!
