  • Laura Jo, Hi from Eugene Oregon! I checked out your pics on your website :) The goat you say is skiddish is really pretty. I love that color! My goats have a bit skiddish by nature and I have spent every day with them for a year! Or, maybe mine are just spoiled and they only want what "they" want. But you mention lower than desired milk production - do you feed sunflower seeds? Deborah has commented on the difference that makes in milk production. you're a knitter? you should make wool sweaters for your babes :)
  • That could be. In this video they haven recently been trimmed for show, so that contributes as well. But they are purebred from Antiquity Oaks (Deborahs' herd).
  • Yes, they are Nigerian! People always say my goats look different - not sure why. Haven't been around many Nigerians to know though! :)
  • they look ravenous - I think I give mine too much hay..........
  • I don't know! They are crazy I suppose!
  • what is it with goats?? They no matter what they have to eat "inside" the fence always stick their heads out to get the "better stuff" lol
  • Yes, this is recent! It was done on Hansel's birthday! No, I did not mean for the lawn mower sound. I actually didn't realize it had the sound on it until I uploaded it!

Thanks! As you can see, Hansel isn't really that long, so I'm blaming the weight on my scale which is never correct!
  • Aw, how cute! Is this recent? Did you purposely add a lawn mower noise? If not, I thought it was really cute to hear the lawn mower sound as the goats are munching away at the grass.
