  I would have loved to come to one of your classes, but we will not be back to Iowa until after October 7 or so. We are in Maine right now, and have reservations up to Oct 1. I have been visiting farms when I fine the raw milk to buy. One of the farms had ND goats.

  You are correct that there are a lot of women who love dairy goats. And we LOVE making our own ice cream, yogurt, buttermilk, and lots of different cheeses. You should visit some farms near you to get a better idea of what is involved in the work. I noticed you're in Iowa. I have goat classes coming up on Sept. 10, in case you want to come to IL. I've had people come from several other states for the classes, and if you have an RV, you don't even have to worry about a hotel. Info on the classes is here: http://antiquityoaks.com/classes.html
