Hi Allan-
Today was actually my first day not milking. I even held on with Cupcake, though she has never really milked above a cup per milking. I'm holding out for that third freshening, though, as you advised. It seems to me that she's really matured over the summer, and is looking beautiful! Hopefully it will show in the milk pail next March. I already can't wait until spring so I can trim them all up and get new pics up, especially my bucklings from this year. I want to see for sure what's developed under all that hair!
I have read that the ADGA show is going to be in MN! How exciting! I would love to go, and I may, but I sure don't know if it will be possible for me with all that will be going on here then. My husband did milk for me three times this September, and he did well. If he would do it again, maybe I could make it. I won't be taking any goats if I go, just getting a feel for how it all goes as I have zero experience with showing. I sure do want to see all those fine animals though!
