  I'd jump at the chance to attend a FAMACHA workshop. I'll look around and see if there is one in AR.

  You have to attend a FAMACHA workshop. Check with your local extension office or maybe a local or state goat group. Our state dairy goat association hosted one a few years ago.

  I thought the same thing too Deborah about collecting a poop sample.  My goats wouldn't just stand there like this one did for that sort of thing.....lol......neither would I......lol :)

  Thanks for posting this! The FAMACHA info is great, and I think it's helpful for people to be able to see how it's done. I hope everyone knows, however, that they don't have to go to such extreme measures to get a sample of poop. If you just go out there with a dixie cup at feeding time, you can catch them in the cup when the goat poops. Much easier and less stressful than the method they show in here.
