Did not settle..no babies.

Zoe has neither looked pregnant or acted pregnant. She should have had kids on June 25th but nada.

I have such serious baby kid lust that I just purchased two little doelings that I am picking up tomorrow.

Our wethered buckling is up for sale and he is our only little one. These does will be bred in the winter and we are looking forward to having join our herd.

Zoe will visit with the buck for a few weeks this summer to see if we can get her going.

    She may not have gotten that at her last home. They raised them for "lawn ornaments and the kids were an after thought. She has the loose minerals here and appears to be coming in to heat as she is running around wildly and quite pink in the vulva.
    Thanks for your advice.
    I did purchase two doelings today as my "goat baby lust" got the better of me.

    I'm sorry! That is always a disappointment. If she is not already receiving a LOOSE mineral like Purina or Sweetlix Meat Maker, I'd suggest starting her on one. If it's a goat-sheep mineral, then she is probably deficient in copper, because sheep minerals have NO copper. If she was already receiving a loose mineral (not a block), then you might consider doing a copper bolus or BoSe shot. Deficiencies in copper or selenium cause fertility issues.
