  • Congratulations! I'm so glad to hear that he did well at the show! I wish I still had time for showing, but at least a few of my babies get to go to show homes!

  • Hi Liz! I hope all is going well for you  =D   I will definitely let ya know when we're planning to be in Quincy. I'd LOVE to come out & meet ya's in person! Take care & hope to see ya soon.

  • Hi Liz! =D I'm almost crying, I'm so excited to meet you! lol My husband lived at the family farm when he was little. Uncle Bob & Uncle Tom run it now.  I love that area, it's SO pretty there. (I fantasize about living there all the time! lol) We currently live at my mom's farm near the Indiana line.  Here, it's flat...flat...flat! (not my favorite, but for now, I'm just glad to be back in the country.) We'll be visiting Quincy again sometime in June. My 6 yo LOVES going to the farmers market when we're there. Talk to ya soon! Have a beautiful day! =D

  • Welcome! =D

  • He's about average. He had a brother that was so small, I castrated him. Annie is only 21 1/8 inches, and her dam is only 21 inches. Those are official measurements from DHI. All of our goats are registered with AGS and ADGA. His sire is also registered with NDGA.

  • You're welcome! And if you haven't found a polled buckling yet, I have one available. He was reserved and then the lady decided she'd rather build her la mancha herd, so he just became available last week. He was born in February. This is his dam: http://nigeriandwarfdairygoats.com/does/annie.html

  • Welcome to the group! How exciting to see so many Illinois people joining lately!
