I love my ND bucklings! I got a bit ahead of myself when I found these two, but it's ok, because every animal we get spends the first few weeks on the front porch anyway. It's good because I don't know if I would have heard them this morning otherwise, I was sleeping so hard. They wanted their food, and I was 15 minutes late! And they were really put out by that! knocking on the door and jumping off the table...LOL. Our property is already fenced. Thankfully. There is one spot David has been working to fix, but the chickens haven't shown the goats where it is, and it's pretty heavily wooded there...so that's good. They know how to get through the gate, but so far have only done it twice, as I was leaving...and Stan really loves his mama, so he just wants to go wherever I do, and Sam just wants to be with Stan. Can you blame them? He seems to know that I will be coming back now, and stays in. Plus I think he just has so much fun jumping off of stuff here that he doesn't think about leaving. They think more about getting into the house if anything. They don't understand why the dogs can come in, but they can't.
