Bucks should be disbudded by about a week for best results, but does can be disbudded at two weeks, or if they are really small, a little later. If you disbud later, you are more likely to get scurs. Luckily I saw your question on the home page, but it will disappear fairly quickly as other posts come up this morning. You should post your question about deciding whether or not to disbud in the forum -- click on the "Forum" link at the top of the page, then "Add" a discussion.
They continue growing until about three, but they've attained most of their height by age one. I don't breed until they weigh at least 35 pounds, which some goats are at seven or eight months, and others don't get there until well over a year of age.
Welcome to the group! Hope you'll take a moment to introduce yourself in the "Introductions" forum and tell us more about your goats! Did you breed any for spring yet?
