Rhonda, I am SO sorry to have not responded before this but haven't been back to the site - shame on me! lol
I am sorta in your neck of the woods, at least by western standards, huh?
I've had nigerian dwarf goats about 3 years now and just love them! They just
bring such joy to both me and my hubby.

Found the patter on line it is by Maxine Kinne. I just typed in goat coats and found a couple of patterns. This littel girl is a warm weather girl and she does not like cold. She had alkl but lost her voice due to cold so she got some Excenel and coat put on. She is better but she does not want her coat taken off. I attempted to retie the strings yesterday and she really paniced thinking I was going to take off. I did copy off another patter by Pat Hendrickson but it is a little more invoolved and I wanted real easy to make. I go the matterial off the remments at JoAnns for less than five dollars Thanks for you kind comments on a couple of our goats. The boys were mine. The one who does not look all theree is my youngest and he had not been up too long when I took that photo. HE all ways brings kids in and they watch tv and love. They are really spoiled. Like my milkers they come to heated garage to be milked. They love the heater. Again welcome to the group.

I woudn't say I'm experinced - just a level above novice! Still a lot to learn! Working goats is about the only thing I know that no one else does. This is my fifth year with goats - got my first when they were 3 months old - now I'm up to four and plan on staying there! What about you? How many do you have? I'd love to see some pictures!
