  Welcome to the group! Goats have four stomachs, and they definitely need copper. I had several goats die from copper deficiency a few years ago. I don't know what the lady at feed store was talking about, because pygmies also have four stomachs and need copper. AND sheep need copper too -- just not quite as much as goats. The US is way behind in sheep and goat nutrition, but they give copper supplements to sheep in England, NZ, and Australia. If you look in the forum,  you will find a lot of information on copper supplementation. Some of us have to give copper in addition to what is in the goat minerals.
