    They are sharp, ive accidently cut the wall of a goats hoof w/ these.

    Be very careful with these.  They are very sharp.  I even had someone helping hold the goat and just as I was about to make my clip, she kicked and slit my finger way open - enough for several stitches.  I bought a different kind that works fine with no danger - they are a little difficult to handle with one hand to get them open because there is no spring.  But worth not getting cut.
