yep shave her udder keeps hair out of your milk and makes it easier to monitor it. I am sure she is sick of the infusions but got to save the udder. Are you giveing any treats to make her love you more? You know spoil her just a bit to help distract her a bit Our girls don't like udder clips either but the tolerate cause they know marshmellows coming. Keep me up dated.

I think she would like the peppermint if she wasn't so annoyed by the teat infusions. I know I sure like it on my hands. It does make her hairy udder gookie until I wash her down befor milking. Should I shave her, I hate to put her through more aggrivation. Tonight we will do the last infusion, wait a few days and test again. I will continue pennicillin for another day. I think the lump I'm still feeling is where I jabbed her when she jumped the other day because the other ones are gone. I hope it clears.

Sounds like a firm plan. How does she like the peppermint lotion rub to her udder? My goldie I am not still sure she is well. We will see if she freshens.

How is milking going now? Hope it is going better for you. How is your weather? Ours wind cold snow and ice. It all stinks and the goats hate the bitter cold. Below zero wind chills.

I think I used a 20cc syrine barrel and then we dipped the end in hot water and then placed on teat. Biggest thing with this is getting suction as you have to lear the angle of the teat placement and once you get it goes. Now I found it easier to hold tight up against the udder and it helped suction obtained. I love this milker and I so hope you can get it to work for you. the one I bought I don't care for. Hope this helps
