Has anyone ever had a goat with a heart murmur? I just had our vet out yesterday to do our yearly CAE-J-CL testing, and  had the vet check the lungs of one of our yearling does, "Gumdrop" ...who has…Continue

Hi everyone,   Our doe kidded Sunday night(3 nights ago), and had triplet boys.  The birth went well, but the first little guy, who seemed fine when he was born, has a rattle to his breathing.  I…Continue

Heart Murmur

Has anyone ever had a goat with a heart murmur? I just had our vet out yesterday to do our yearly CAE-J-CL testing, and  had the vet check the lungs of one of our yearling does, "Gumdrop" ...who has had an on/off cough through the winter (but has always acted normal, no fever, no runny nose/eyes).  I really thought it was lungworm, and so that's what I treated her for, and she did seem to cough less after I wormed her. She hasn't had the cough(like she had in the winter), but now only coughs…See More

Drying up a pregnant doe...

Hi everyone, I need some advice....My doe is due March 28th, exactly 2 months from today.
