Today my husband and I had to put our beautiful Moose to sleep. The vet had no idea why he got sick and to find out is apparently expensive. So while I was holding him the vet put him down. Very emotional for the both of us. …

I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I have a goat that has both knee's all banged up. The fur is gone and he's constantly reopening the scabs. Is their something I can use to wrap his knee with or some other type of remedy ? I keep washing it with warm water and then he's fine for a little while, then he hit's it on something and does it all over again.. Help

When is the right time to introduce my new goats with my other goats. I have two goats (Moose & Lola ), they are a 1yr old. Recently I rescued Oliver, he's about 7 weeks old. We have keep him in his own pen. He's been to the vet for his shots and is doing great.

Susan Oleson said… This is a small pen I use mostly in the winter, the shed is for daytime use. It is very difficult to clean out as it is not very tall & has no big door. They are in the barn every night, we have coyotes & I would hate for them to be tortured in that small shed! The hay feeder my DH made. It would fit nice under your awesome roofed structure for your hay bag! Right now I only have the 3. I am expecting April 27 for Jane to kid. Anne just kidded 2 weeks early & I lost all 3. Such a tragedy!
