"I would still treat the same way, if I thought there were any chance it were mites... I didn't treat my boys and they cleared up just from not being so stinking NUTSO during rut, once the peeing on themselves thing slowed down. "

"No I've had him for three years and since he was a kid wethered at 4 months. I've never seen him pee on himself plus its on his back legs too. I washed his legs with warm water mixed with an benidine tonight and rubbed on some ointment.…"

"I think that is a possibility too, Rachel! And I would say that the exact same treatments would be beneficial, wouldn't you? I don't have experience with it but was thinking that you had mentioned a similar treatment you had used!"

"That looks a lot like Urine scald to me... if it were on a buck, that's what I would say it is. Since it's on a wether (and not a newly wethered, wether?) And yes, Margaret, bucks get that on their scrotum. Mine get that on their back legs…"

"Well if you don't find it just get some Nu Stock because it does kill mites too and grows hair back like crazy! It is probably cheaper and although I don't know about Eprinex, I would bet the Nu Stock is probably not as harsh, chemical…"

"Remember, the Eprinex will only work for mites, NOT a skin infection. You can try the triple antibiotic cream that people use on skin scrapes."

Deborah Niemann-Boehle replied to Donna M Rasmussen's discussion HELP!!!
"I haven't seen that type of hair loss before. Being localized like that seems like it would be caused by something physical like having his front legs laying in urine. Have you been adding layers of fresh straw to their bedding frequently? I…"

Hi, At the moment I have three does out to different breeders, one is three years old, LADY SNOW was a gift from a friend . She had a buckling that was almost a month old. Neutered him, and now he is called Knee High. The other does are Jazz, Ginny,. At home I have a friends but hoping he will breed with Sammy Jo. They're both around 14 inches at the top of the shoulder. That is about it got goats............

have 14 chickens, one rooster and two African geese who believe they are lap dogs. A Westie terier who think he is a goat herder.

In my ole age I finally got to have a farm. Also have a Lionhead rabbit. a blue and gold macaw, and an African grey parrot. This is ;my first year with hoping for new babies in April. Than I hope to learn how to make yogart and use the maple syrup and rasperries from a neighbors farm.

My phone no is 879 4618
